The day your baby is born is magical. Hospital birth, home birth, or cesarean section, it is a huge event in yours and your family’s lives. The excitement that fills the air is incredible. Who do you want responsible behind the camera? A professional? Or Daddy, who needs to be living the moment, not capturing it? Birth photography is not what most imagine in their heads. It is not gore and pain in photos. It is the beauty of Mommy and Daddy bonding before their baby is born. It is showing how mommy labored to get baby here. It is the look on Daddy’s face, the tears in his eyes the first time he sees his son or daughter. Those are things you cannot get back. Those are emotions video just cannot capture. I will be there to photograph labor, the birth and the hours of postpartum bonding that follow. I will be as involved as you wish. I promise to never, I repeat, never be intrusive. If you and your spouse are particularly private I will respect that, and only get modest shots. If you want the whole beautiful process, I will absolutely get that for you. Birth is a passion of mine. It would be my honor to attend your baby’s birth and give you photos of memories you will cherish for a lifetime.
